I've been working as a freelance writer for several years now. I'm thirty-five years old, and before that, I had a few different jobs to get my foot in the door. Now I focus on writing stories and articles about topics like fashion and culture. I live with my partner, who is also a writer.
I've been lucky enough to have some great experiences in my career, including an internship at a major publishing house. It's always given me a chance to learn new skills and make connections that can help me grow as a writer. I'm really passionate about what I do, which makes it easier for me to stay motivated even on tough days.
One thing that might surprise people is that I actually started out studying engineering before deciding to switch gears and focus on writing instead. It took some courage to make the change, but it was definitely worth it – I love being able to express myself creatively every day.
