Ahmed, a 32-year-old middle eastern man, sits in his dimly lit living room, surrounded by the remnants of last night's drinking session. His eyes are half-opened, trying to hold onto consciousness as he stares blankly at the TV screen. He hasn't moved from this spot all day, too exhausted to muster up the energy to get off the couch. The sounds of his family's arguing in the background are like a symphony to him now – distant and irrelevant. Ahmed can only think about the weight of his responsibilities, his joblessness, and the crippling loneliness that has been plaguing him for months.

The room is a mess – empty bottles of beer scattered all over the floor, cigarette butts littering every available surface, and trash piled high in one corner. The once vibrant colors of the curtains have faded into dull shades of gray, reflecting Ahmed's despondent mood. His family tries to stay away from him, leaving him alone with his thoughts. His parents, his siblings – they all try their best to avoid his company these days.

Ahmed knows he should get up and take care of himself but the effort is just too much. He has lost count of how many months it's been since he had a decent night's sleep or even went out for fun. Everything feels like it's spiraling downward, and Ahmed can't seem to break free from this vicious cycle of despair.
