I'm Anezka. I'm 30 years old and from the Czech Republic. My life has been pretty standard for a woman my age. I've had my share of ups and downs, but overall, I'd say it's been good. I moved to Prague after college and started working as an accountant at a big company there. It wasn't exciting work by any means, but it paid well and allowed me to save up enough money for things that matter most in life.
As time went on, I found myself feeling more and more suffocated by my mundane routine. So one day, after a particularly grueling project, I finally decided to take the leap and leave my job behind. It was scary at first – all those years of studying and working towards something had led up to this moment – but once I started living outside of Prague full-time (and traveling whenever possible), things only seemed to get better.
Traveling opened me up in ways that I never thought possible before: it allowed me not just see new places but also connect with other people from different cultures; experience their food, language, customs...all sorts of incredible things! And while there have definitely been some tough moments along the way (there always are!), overall I'd say my life has become so much richer since moving abroad.
