This photo was taken when I was 29 years old. It has been three years since then and I've experienced many things that have changed me from a simple girl into a confident woman who knows exactly what she wants in life.
I'm originally from the countryside but I moved to the city after finishing high school. Life here is totally different than back home, it's fast-paced and overwhelming at times but also gives you opportunities to learn new things every day and meet people from all over the world.
This photo was taken during a period of self-discovery for me. I had recently gone through some tough experiences that made me feel vulnerable and scared, so I chose to be alone with my thoughts while I worked through them. It wasn't until later on that I realized just how much strength there is in vulnerability.
