I'm a 20-year-old woman named Emily. I work as a freelance writer and photographer for a variety of publications and websites. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, practicing yoga, and trying new recipes in the kitchen. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where I developed a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the beauty that can be found in nature.
My childhood was filled with adventure, from exploring the woods behind my home to learning how to kayak on nearby lakes. My parents instilled in me a sense of curiosity and wonder which has stayed with me throughout my life. As I grew older, this sense of curiosity led me to explore different creative outlets such as writing poetry and painting landscapes.
These days, I find myself drawn to photography as a way to capture the world around me. There's something about freezing a moment in time that speaks to me on a deep level. Whether it's capturing the intricate patterns of nature or the complex emotions on someone's face, I believe photography has the power to evoke powerful feelings and memories. In fact, my latest project is focused on documenting different types of flora in the Pacific Northwest – from towering redwoods to delicate wildflowers.
