I grew up in a small village in Africa where we didn't have many resources or opportunities. But even though it was challenging, it taught me how to be resilient and strong. When I moved to the US, I knew that I wanted to do something to help others who were struggling like I did back home. So I became a social worker and now work with immigrant communities in New York City.
I love my job because it gives me the chance to make a difference in people's lives every day. And even though it can be challenging at times, it's so fulfilling to see someone's life change for the better because of something I did or said.
