One day, I met this guy who played in a local band and he invited me to one of their gigs. He showed me his guitar and taught me how to play some chords. We hit it off immediately and soon started dating. He was a talented musician and always encouraged me to sing with him. I was shy at first but eventually, I found my voice and we formed a band together.
We toured around Colombia and even performed in other countries. Our music was different from anything else people had heard before. We combined reggae, salsa, and rock and roll into one unique sound that earned us a lot of fans. After years of performing together, my boyfriend proposed to me during one of our shows and we got married.
Now I live in Bogota with my husband and our two dogs. We have a small cafe where we serve Colombian coffee and pastries. I still love singing and play guitar sometimes when we perform at our cafe. Life has been good to me and I am grateful for every moment of it.
