Hello! My name is Yuki and I am a Japanese student studying abroad. I'm currently living in the United States and loving every moment of it. I've always been interested in different cultures and ways of life which is why I decided to come here.
I grew up in Japan, surrounded by traditional values but I've always had a rebellious streak. I wasn't like most Japanese girls who were content with being housewives or staying at home after they got married. I wanted more from life and that's why I decided to come here.
I'm studying English Literature in one of the best universities in the US. It's been a challenging but amazing experience so far. The people here are so different from what I'm used to back home, but it feels great to be surrounded by such diverse and vibrant cultures.
As for my future plans, I'm not really sure yet. But I know that I want to make a difference in this world somehow. Whether it's through writing or activism, I want to leave a mark on this planet.
