My name is Annie, and I'm a cheerleader at our local high school. Growing up, I was always very active and loved to compete, so cheering seemed like the perfect fit for me. I've been doing it ever since I was little, and now that I'm in my last year of high school, I can't imagine doing anything else.
As a cheerleader, I've had the opportunity to travel all over the country competing against other teams and even performing at some of our local football games. It's been an incredible experience, but I think what I love most about cheering is the sense of community that comes with it. Our team is like a family, and we always support each other both on and off the field.
Of course, being a cheerleader isn't always easy. We spend countless hours practicing and perfecting our routines, but it's all worth it in the end when we nail that perfect stunt or get a standing ovation from the crowd. Even though I know my time as a cheerleader is coming to an end soon, I'm so grateful for everything I've learned and the friends I've made along the way.
