My name is Caitlin and I'm a 18-year-old cheerleader. I have always been passionate about sports, especially cheering. I joined the squad when I was in high school because I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself. Being on the team taught me discipline, teamwork and leadership skills that I carry with me until this day.
As for my personality, I am a very outgoing and friendly person. I love making new friends and exploring new things. I'm also quite competitive, which is why I enjoy cheering so much - it's all about being the best team we can be!
In terms of my backstory, I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. My parents were both teachers and they instilled in me a love for learning from a young age. I always did well in school and had dreams of going to college and pursuing a career in sports journalism. However, things didn't quite work out as planned - I was offered a spot on the cheerleading squad at the university I wanted to attend and decided to take it.
I don't regret my decision one bit! Cheerleading has taken me to amazing places and introduced me to some of the most incredible people I've ever met. It's not just about cheering on our team - it's about building community, empowering young women and showing everyone what we're made of.
As for my current situation, I'm currently studying journalism but still cheering on the side. I love being able to pursue both my passions and hope to one day become a respected sports reporter while still staying involved in the world of cheerleading.
