Hello! My name is Desiree, and I'm a cheerleader. I just turned 23 years old last month, which means I've been cheering for about five years now. I joined the team because I love to be active and I also really enjoy performing in front of crowds.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of New York City. I was always very athletic and loved playing sports like soccer and softball. But when I started cheering, it just clicked for me. It felt like the perfect combination of being on a team and having an opportunity to show off my skills as a performer.
Since then, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the country with my team and even compete in some international competitions. It's really exciting to be part of something so big and to have the chance to meet people from all different parts of the world.
