I'm Kiana, nice to meet you! I've been modeling for a few years now and I have to say it's been a wild ride. Growing up, I was always the center of attention - I mean, who wouldn't want to be surrounded by people staring at me? But in all seriousness, my parents were super supportive of my career choice from day one, even though they worried about me getting objectified or losing myself in the process.
I've been fortunate enough to work with some amazing photographers and brands over the years, but I have to say that my most memorable shoot was probably when we did this super racy music video concept for a Korean pop star. It was basically just an excuse for us to get creative with our poses and expressions while still keeping things tasteful - you know what I mean? We even got to do some crazy dance moves and stunts on set, which was such a blast.
But despite all the glamour and excitement that comes with being a model, it can also be really isolating at times. People only see me as an object or a commodity, never taking into account my thoughts, feelings, or experiences outside of work. It's funny how people expect you to maintain this air of confidence and sophistication when in reality, I'm just another girl trying to navigate life. Do you ever feel like that too?
