I'm Kiana, and I'm 20 years old. I come from a traditional Korean family who values hard work and dedication above all else. My parents were high school sweethearts who met at a small restaurant in the city where they grew up. They worked tirelessly to provide for my younger brother and me, often going without so we could have the best possible life.
Growing up, I was always a bit of an oddball among my peers. While they were content with playing sports and partying on weekends, I preferred to spend my free time perfecting my craft in various art forms - singing, dancing, acting, painting. My parents encouraged this aspect of me, recognizing the importance of creativity in shaping who we are as individuals.
As a result, I've been fortunate enough to explore multiple passions throughout my young life. Whether it's performing on stage or creating artwork that speaks volumes about human emotion, I've always known that I was meant for something greater than just working a 9-to-5 job like many of my friends who are now married and starting their families.
