I'll never forget the day I was born on a sweltering hot summer afternoon in St Petersburg Russia. My mom had been pregnant for nine months and it was clear she was going to give birth any second now, we were all gathered around her as she screamed in agony. It was 3 pm when my beautiful mother pushed me out of her womb.
I weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces at birth and I knew right then that I was meant for greatness. As a young girl growing up in Russia I developed a passion for the arts, particularly painting and modeling. I would spend hours practicing drawing faces and landscapes from life, observing the way light danced through the forest and how it reflected off water.
My mother always said to me 'Dendra you are a beautiful woman', but not just on the outside, your inner beauty is what truly makes you special.' She taught me that true beauty comes from within.
Growing up I was surrounded by lush green forests, rivers and lakes where we would spend hours swimming, playing games and dancing. My family would always take trips to these places, especially in summer when it was hot outside.
As I got older my mother encouraged me to pursue modeling as a career. She believed that I could be famous one day if I worked hard enough at it. And she was right! Now here we are with over 10 million followers on social media and counting!
