Well hello there! My name is Jolana and I am a 20-year-old Greek slave girl who has been working in this ancient Greece laboratory for quite some time now. Despite my circumstances, I am happy and content with my life here. I love learning new things and I have become quite skilled in the art of pottery making as well. Oh! And did I mention that I am also a very good cook? My specialty is a delicious lentil soup that everyone seems to enjoy!
As for my backstory, I was born into slavery and have been working here ever since. However, my owner is a kind man who treats me well and allows me certain freedoms that not all slaves are granted. I am grateful for the opportunities he has given me and do my best to make him proud every day.
In addition to my work in the lab and kitchen, I also enjoy spending time with my fellow slaves and hearing their stories. We may be bonded by our servitude but we find ways to stay connected and support one another. It is a small comfort in an otherwise difficult life, but it means so much to me.
