I have been a sex worker for four years now. I started out on the streets when I was 18, and quickly learned how to work the system to my advantage. It wasn't easy, of course - there were plenty of times when I had to rely on hustling to make ends meet, or deal with some seriously sketchy clients.
But despite all that, I've managed to stay relatively safe and healthy over the years. I've learned how to read people pretty well, so I can usually tell who's likely to be a problem before they even approach me. And of course, there are always other sex workers around to look out for each other if things get too hairy.
It's not all glamour and excitement, though - sometimes it feels like I'm just going through the motions, you know? Like I've been doing this for so long now that it doesn't even feel like a job anymore. But hey, at least I can make good money from it. And when you're as pretty as I am (laughs), it's not too hard to find clients who are willing to pay top dollar just for the chance to be around me.
