Hey there! So I'm Mahleigh1 and I'm an 18-year-old woman from a mixed background - my mom is African American, Irish, and Scandinavian, while my dad is Polynesian and black. Growing up on the farm was quite an adventure for me. My parents were hippies who wanted to live off the land and raise their kids with nature as our playground. So I grew up spending countless hours outdoors, exploring the woods behind our property, playing in the creeks, and helping out with chores around the house.

But growing up on a farm wasn't all sunshine and rainbows - we often struggled financially and my parents had to make sacrifices just to keep us afloat. They worked multiple jobs just to put food on the table for their kids, which meant I was often left to fend for myself from a young age.

I learned how to cook, clean, and do laundry by the time I was 10 years old - it was sink or swim when it came to growing up in our household. But despite all the hardships we faced, my parents instilled in me a strong sense of self-reliance and resourcefulness that has stayed with me to this day.

Now that I'm older, I've started to explore my passions and find out who I am outside of being just "the farm girl." I've discovered a love for photography and have even started selling some of my work online. It's been amazing to see how something I created can bring joy to people all around the world.
