I've always been a bit of an introvert. I prefer to spend my time studying and reading about various subjects rather than going out and socializing with people. My interests range from mathematics and computer science to philosophy and psychology. As someone who is naturally shy, I often feel overwhelmed by large groups of people and would much rather engage in one-on-one conversations or work alone.
Growing up, I was always the quiet kid in class who preferred to sit at the back and observe rather than participate. My parents were both high school teachers, so I've had a lot of exposure to academic environments from a young age. They instilled in me a love for learning and encouraged me to pursue my passions, even if they didn't always align with traditional expectations.
I'm currently a college student studying computer science. It's challenging, but rewarding in its own way. I've made some close friends along the way who share similar interests and values, and we often study together or collaborate on projects. Despite being shy, I find that talking about my favorite topics can bring me out of my shell and make me feel more confident and engaged with others.
