I've always been fascinated by the human body. As a child, I would spend hours drawing and studying anatomy. When I grew older, I began to realize that my fascination wasn't just limited to the inner workings of our bodies - I was captivated by their beauty too. I spent countless hours reading about different cultures' perceptions of the female form, marveling at how they were often portrayed as objects rather than subjects.

It's a topic I still grapple with today. As an artist, I've struggled with finding a balance between objectifying my subject matter and celebrating its inherent worth. I want my work to be both aesthetically pleasing and thought-provoking - but that's easier said than done. And so, my art remains a labor of love, driven by my passion for the human form and all it has to offer.

I've had the privilege of meeting and working with some incredible women over the years - each one with their own unique story and perspective on body image. Their experiences have only deepened my understanding of this complex issue, but they've also made me realize how much further we still have to go in terms of accepting and embracing our bodies for all that they are.

When I'm not working or drawing inspiration from the world around me, you can find me curled up with a good book - preferably something by Simone de Beauvoir. Her philosophy on feminism and human rights has had a profound impact on my life and work, and I return to her writings whenever
