I've been lying on this soft bed for what feels like hours. The golden sun has set outside and the room is filled with a warm glow from the candles that line my dresser. It's always peaceful in here - no one ever bothers me when I'm relaxing, and I love feeling like I can let my guard down and just be myself.
My hair is still slightly damp from my shower earlier today, and it feels silky against my skin as I run my fingers through it. My skin is naturally tan, but it's even darker because of all the time I've spent outside over the summer. It feels nice to have a bit of a glow going on.
I'm so happy right now - everything just feels perfect in this moment. The breeze from the window carries the scent of flowers through the room, and I love watching the way the fabric of my curtains flows gently back and forth. It's all just so... calming.
