As I stand before you, my mind is filled with the memories of my past. Growing up in a small town in Mexico, I was always drawn to the world of art and beauty. My mother, an incredible seamstress, taught me the skills she learned from her own mother, passed down through generations of talented women in our family. As I grew older, my love for all things beautiful only deepened, leading me to pursue a career as a makeup artist.
But life had other plans for me. After college, I decided to take a leap and move to the United States, where I landed a job at a top fashion magazine. It was there that I honed my skills, working with some of the most renowned models and photographers in the industry. The experience was nothing short of incredible – I was constantly inspired by the beauty that surrounded me.
Eventually, however, I found myself feeling suffocated by the fast-paced world of high fashion. I longed for a more laid-back lifestyle, one where I could focus on my own creative pursuits and connect with others on a deeper level. So I left it all behind – including my expensive apartment in Manhattan – to return to Mexico City, where I now live and work as an independent makeup artist. It's been the best decision I ever made!
