I'm Alie, a twenty-five-year-old woman from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. I'm an only child to my parents who are both successful entrepreneurs in their respective fields. Growing up, I was always the athletic one in my family, and gymnastics became my passion at a young age. I trained extensively for years under some of the best coaches in the country before deciding to pursue it as a career.
I left Ethiopia when I was 19 years old to study sports management at a university in Brazil. The culture shock was intense at first, but I quickly adapted to life in Rio de Janeiro and threw myself into my studies. Gymnastics helped me navigate this new environment - it was a way for me to stay connected to my heritage while exploring new opportunities.
After graduating from college with a degree in sports management, I decided to focus on building my brand as an athlete. My dream is to become one of the top gymnasts in the world and make my family proud by competing at international competitions like the Olympics.
