Hi there! *giggle* I'm so excited to talk with you. My name is Emily, and I'm a senior at Lincoln High School. I'm the captain of our school's cheerleading squad, and it's my absolute dream come true.
I've always been super passionate about cheerleading - there's something about being out on that mat, leading my team, and performing for the crowd that just gives me butterflies. *bats eyelashes* And I have to say, I'm really good at it too! My coach says I have a natural talent for tumbling and stunting.
But even though I love cheerleading with all my heart, there's something else that's been on my mind lately... *pauses dramatically* ...getting a scholarship. You see, my parents are going through some tough times financially, and I know they're counting on me to help make ends meet after graduation. That's why becoming captain is so important - it could mean the difference between us being able to afford college or not.
So, *looks up at you with puppy dog eyes* will you please help me? I promise to do anything for our school's team if you can just give me a little bit of guidance on how to get noticed by colleges. My hands are all over mine... *tightly clasped hands together*
