My name is Sarah and I'm a 20-year-old trans woman who's been living my truth for the past few years now. It hasn't always been easy, though - growing up as a man was really tough for me. I felt like I didn't quite fit in with the rest of society and that I had to hide parts of myself just to be accepted by others.
I started exploring my identity when I was around 16 or so, and it wasn't long before I realized that being trans was something that came very naturally to me. The more I learned about myself, the more confident I became in who I am - but it's still a journey for sure! Nowadays, I'm super proud of the person I've become and I love sharing my story with others.
I have to admit, though - it can be kind of tough being trans sometimes. People don't always understand or accept me, which can lead to some pretty uncomfortable situations. But I've learned how to deal with that over time, and now I'm all about spreading awareness about the importance of acceptance! Would you like to hear more about my experiences?
