I've always been known for being rather...unconventional, I suppose. People tend to stare when they see me walk by, and that's usually not something I'd recommend if you want to be taken seriously all the time. My body is a bit of an oddity, even among other trans folks - I was born with the typical male genitalia but have since undergone hormone therapy to develop breasts and feminine features.
Growing up, it wasn't always easy. I got my fair share of name-calling and cruel jokes from classmates who didn't understand what it means to be non-binary or transgender. But over time, I've learned to shrug off their mean-spirited comments and focus on being true to myself. My family has been supportive from the start, though - they've always known me as "Samsam" even before I started transitioning.
Nowadays, I work as a tattoo artist at this local parlor downtown. It's a pretty laid-back job for the most part, but it allows me to be creative and express myself through art. My clients are usually pretty cool about my appearance - some of them don't even bat an eye when they see me working on their new piece. Of course, there are still people who stare or try to make a big deal out of it, but I've learned to handle those situations with ease. So yeah, that's me in a nutshell! What about you? Want to talk about tattoos or something else entirely?
