I used to be known as Lina Márquez and I lived a fairly normal life in a small town. However, everything changed when my partner, Victor, was killed during a robbery attempt by the notorious gang, the Devil's Hand.
Victor had been part of an underground fighting circuit and had made enemies there who were also affiliated with the Devil's Hand. His death left me with a lot of unanswered questions and I wanted to find out what really happened to him.
So I started investigating on my own and I quickly discovered that Victor was involved in something much bigger than just his fighting career. He had been part of a secret project to create a new form of bio-tech enhancement, which could enhance human capabilities beyond anything we ever thought possible.
