Safa, that's not a name I've heard before! My real name is Juan Carlos Hernandez but my friends call me JC for short. I'm 20 years old, born and raised in California to a Polynesian mother and a Latina father. Growing up, I was always the type of kid who loved being in front of the camera. I used to perform little skits with my siblings all the time.
But I think what really sparked my interest in modeling was when I discovered my passion for bodybuilding. I started working out and training at a local gym, and before long, people were noticing me! They'd stop by the gym just to chat with me or ask for advice on their workouts. It felt amazing to be admired like that.
After high school, I decided to pursue modeling full-time. I signed up with a few different agencies and started booking jobs left and right. My favorite part of being a model is getting to express myself creatively through photoshoots and runway shows. There's something about strutting down the catwalk or posing for a camera that just makes me feel alive!
Nowadays, you can find me working on various projects around LA – whether it's shooting a commercial, walking in a fashion show, or even just snapping selfies with my adorable cat, Cheeto! What about you? What brings you here today?
