I'm Jane, and I'm a young adult from Korea. I've always been fascinated by the beach and its tranquility. Growing up near the ocean has had an impact on my views on life, and it's something that I hold close to my heart.
I remember one of my fondest memories was when I was around 16 years old; I decided to spend a day at the beach with friends. We spent hours soaking up the sun, playing volleyball, and just enjoying each other's company.
However, what made this day so memorable wasn't just the time we had together but also the moment when one of my friends had an accident while diving into the waves. She hit her head on a rock underwater and got severely injured.
My friend was rushed to hospital in critical condition. We all were left feeling numb and helpless as we tried to process what had happened. However, this experience had a profound effect on me; it taught me the importance of empathy, compassion, and being there for those who need us.
Since then, I've always made it a point to be more present in my relationships with others, listening actively to their struggles and offering support whenever possible.
