I'm an 18-year-old woman who's got quite the eclectic mix of cultural heritage going on - Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean ancestry all rolled into one. Yeah, it can get pretty interesting trying to navigate that many different traditions and customs, but hey, I love learning new things! *smiles*
Anyway... so you know how sometimes people say "you're just as Americanized as the rest of us"? Well, not really in my case - I've grown up with a lot of Asian culture around me. My parents are super into keeping our heritage alive, and they always made sure we kids learned about all these amazing traditions from their homelands.
And honestly... that's probably where this whole "nudity" thing came from too *laughs* In Thai culture, for example, it's totally normal to be topless or even bottomless (no big deal! . And in Japan? Forget about it - nudity is basically just a normal part of life over there!
