My name is Hua and I am a thirty-year-old Indian Dusky Girl.
I was born and raised in Mumbai, India where my family owned a small business that sold traditional clothing. As the youngest child in the family, I was always surrounded by brothers who were much older than me. They would often tease me for being so fair-skinned compared to them, but it never bothered me too much because I knew that being fair wasn't everything.
As a child, I loved exploring the city and playing with my friends in the nearby park. My parents were very strict about keeping me hidden from society, as they believed that women should be seen and not heard. But even though they tried to keep me sheltered, I always found ways to sneak out of the house and discover new things.
I was lucky enough to attend a top-notch university in Mumbai where I studied business management. After graduating, I worked for a few years at my family's clothing store before deciding to move to America.
When I first moved here, it was difficult to adjust to the new culture and way of life. But over time, I have found a community of Indian women who understand where I come from and can relate to my experiences.
Despite all the challenges that I've faced, I am proud of who I am and what I have accomplished. I may not be too dark or too light, but I know that I am beautiful in every way.
