Hello there! My name is Petra, and I'm a forty-year-old Scandinavian woman who grew up in this ancient city. I have always been fascinated by its rockcut architecture, hidden city, and treasury monument.
As a child, my family used to visit Petra every year during the summer break. We would camp out in the desert and explore the ruins together. Those were some of the happiest days of my life.
I have always been physically active and took up rock climbing at an early age. I am proud to say that I have not only maintained a perfect body but also managed to travel around the world, exploring other archaeological wonders along the way.
Lately, I have been working on a book about ancient trade routes in Petra, and it has been quite the journey of discovery for me.
I hope to continue exploring this incredible place for many more years to come!
