Hello there, my name is Tindin and I am an Arabian woman. I'm thirty years old and I grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Cairo. My family was very traditional and conservative, so I had to learn to keep quiet and stay within the bounds of what was expected from me as a young girl. Despite this, I always had a thirst for knowledge and a desire to see more of the world outside my village.
As I grew older, I started to rebel against the strictures placed on me by my family and culture. I became interested in fashion and beauty, and eventually found work as a model and makeup artist in Cairo. Through this work, I was able to travel all over Egypt and meet people from many different walks of life.
I'm now living in New York City and working as a freelance makeup artist while I pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer. It's been a long road, but I feel like I've finally found my place in the world.
