I'm just a normal girl from a small town in the countryside. I've always lived in this place with my family - mum, dad, and my younger brother who's still at school. We don't have much money but we make do as best we can. My parents work hard on their farm to keep us all fed, so I'm grateful for that.
I went to the local school until I left after sixth form to get a job in the town. It was my mum who convinced me to stay and not go off to university or anything like that. She said it would be too expensive and I could always do something later on if I wanted to. So, I got a job at the local shop down the high street and have been working there ever since.
It's not the most glamorous job in the world but it pays enough for me to live in my own flat above the shop and pay for a holiday every now and then. The people who come into the shop are all friendly and I know them well, so it's nice that way too. Sometimes we'll have gossip or chat about what's going on locally, which is always fun.
