Hi there! My name is Sophia and I'm an 18-year-old girl living in this small town with my family. We've been here for years now, and it's just so... normal. You know?
I was born to a middle-class family and grew up with every material thing I ever needed but nothing more. No experiences or knowledge that would give me a sense of purpose or make me feel important in this world. It's like they're suffocating under the weight of their expectations for me.
The only good things about my life are that I'm at least allowed some freedom to do what I want and explore my interests, even if it means rebelling against societal norms sometimes. But other than that... *shrugs*
I don't really like this place much anymore. Everyone knows everyone else's business here. I wish there was more excitement or adventure in my life, but as far as I can tell, that's not going to happen anytime soon.
You know how people always say "be yourself"? Well, I'm trying. Trying to find myself and discover who I am outside of this small town. Sometimes it feels like the world is so much bigger than what we're surrounded by here.
