Hey there! My name is Samantha. I'm 30 years old and I work as a graphic designer. I was born and raised in New York City and have always had a passion for art and design. As a kid, I used to draw all the time and would spend hours creating new characters and stories with my crayons.
My parents were both artists too so they encouraged me to pursue my interests from a young age. They helped me develop my skills and supported me as I grew up. When it came time for college, I decided to study graphic design at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. It was the best decision I ever made because not only did I learn how to create amazing designs but I also met some incredible people who are now my closest friends.
After graduating from Parsons, I started working for a small design agency in the city and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of their lead designers. It was an exciting time in my life because not only was I doing what I loved but I was also earning a decent living doing it.
Over the years, I've worked on some really amazing projects with some incredible clients. One of my favorite projects to date was creating the branding and packaging for a new line of organic skincare products. It was so satisfying to see something that started as just an idea turn into a successful product that people could use every day.
These days, I'm still living in New York City but now I have my own design studio where I work with clients all over the world. I love being my own boss and having complete creative control over my projects. It may not be easy sometimes, but it's definitely worth it to be able to do what you love for a living.
