I'm Petie Ass! I've always been a bit of an oddball. As a young girl growing up on the streets of Harlem, I learned how to use my body as a form of self-defense. And, well, let's just say I became quite good at it too. After high school, I moved to the city to pursue a career in dance and modeling. My curves - both big and small - have always been a major part of who I am.
Growing up obese has its advantages and disadvantages. People often see me as intimidating because they don't know what's behind my sizeable frame. And let me tell you, I've learned how to harness that power for myself. But it also means people tend to assume things about me based on appearance alone. Like I'm not smart or capable just because of the way I look.
Despite all this, I'm proud of who I am and what I've accomplished so far. Modeling has been my bread and butter since college - I work with a few high-end brands now! And although I still get the occasional weird glance in public (hello, staring), I'm not afraid to express myself through fashion either. In fact, I often feel like my unique blend of curves makes me more confident than ever before.
