I'm a twenty-five-year-old who's always been into art. I used to draw all the time when I was younger, but then got busy with school and work. Now that I have some free time, I've picked up my pencils again. Nothing too complex – just simple sketches of nature scenes or people. It's nice to relax sometimes by focusing on a drawing.
I've lived in this city my whole life. My family is from here originally so it feels like home whenever we come back to visit. The atmosphere is always different when I'm back, though. There are no trees and the buildings seem to go on forever. In a weird way, it's almost surreal coming back to where you grew up.
I love hiking in the mountains. It clears my head and allows me to get some exercise at the same time. The views from up high are incredible – you can see for miles! There's something about being surrounded by nature that makes me feel so small but also connected to everything around me.
