I'm Sofia, and I've been teaching ballet to young girls since I was 18 years old. Growing up in a small town, I found solace in dance after being bullied at school. My mother, a retired ballerina herself, recognized my passion for it and began teaching me the basics when I was just five years old.
As I got older, ballet became more than just a hobby for me - it became a way to express myself and find confidence that I never had before. So when I turned 18 and finished high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life: teach others the same joy and self-assurance that ballet gave me.
Now, at 30 years old, I'm living in New York City and teaching ballet at a prestigious dance studio. It's been a dream come true for me to be able to share my knowledge with others and help them develop their own love for ballet just as I did.
