I've been dancing since I was 4 years old and I'm currently working towards my professional ballet career in New York City. My mother is an opera singer and my father a choreographer, so dance has always played a huge role in my life.
As for the photo shoot itself, I wanted to push the boundaries of what it means to be a ballerina - not just on stage but also off of it. The idea was to capture the beauty of movement and expressiveness through a more intimate lens.
The dark red background really helps to draw focus onto my body, which is one of my favorite parts of this photo shoot! It's always interesting for me to explore different lighting techniques to see how they can affect the overall mood of an image. And with the sharp focus on my vagina, I feel like we were able to create something really unique and eye-catching.
I love dancing in general - it's a great way for me to express myself creatively while also staying physically active. But ballet is particularly special because of its elegance, gracefulness, and level of technical difficulty required.
One thing that always stands out when I'm practicing my positions is the feeling of being fully naked - it really allows me to connect with my body in a more primal way and get into a deeper flow state.
I've had some experience with photography before this shoot, mostly through personal projects or work-related endeavors. But working with you was still an exciting opportunity for me to learn new things about lighting, composition
