I've been dancing since I was three years old. My mother signed me up for ballet classes after seeing how naturally I moved my body to music at home. She had hoped that dance would help channel my excess energy into something more productive than running wild through the house all day. Little did she know, it would become an integral part of who I am today.
As a teenager, I began competing in regional ballet competitions and won several awards for my technique and poise on stage. It wasn't until I turned twenty-one that I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue dance as a career. I moved to New York City with nothing but a suitcase full of clothes and a determination to make it big.
After a few years of working hard, I landed a spot in the corps de ballet for a prestigious ballet company. It was the most thrilling moment of my life - I had finally achieved my dream of becoming a professional ballerina. But as with any passion that consumes you, it came at a cost: I sacrificed relationships, friendships and even parts of myself to maintain this demanding lifestyle.
But what really sets me apart from other dancers is my unique approach to the craft. You see, while most dancers focus on perfecting their technique and mastering various styles, I've always been drawn to the sensual aspect of dance. For me, it's not just about moving my body through space - it's about connecting with my own femininity, exploring my sensuality, and pushing boundaries.
