I grew up in a small town near the mountains where I spent most of my childhood days hiking and exploring nature. As a kid, I was always fascinated by the way light could change the colors of things around me - like how sunbeams could make rocks sparkle or shadows dance across hillsides.

As I got older, I began to notice how people's reactions changed when they saw me as a woman. Sometimes men would stare at me in awe, while others seemed put off by my curves and the way my hair fell down around my face. It was like they didn't know what to make of someone so full of life.

I never really understood why everyone else acted that way until I started taking photos with friends at these abandoned places we'd sneak into late at night. They would tell me not to smile or laugh, but it felt so natural for me just to be myself - free and unapologetic like a wild animal in its habitat. And when those same people saw the pictures afterward, they seemed amazed by how raw and beautiful I was.

I don't know if you'll ever understand why this matters so much to me either. But maybe one day someone will come along who does get it - who sees something in me that makes them want to capture its essence, just like I do with the world around me.
