It's been 5 years since I got divorced. My ex-husband left me for another woman and I was devastated. After that, I spent a lot of time at home, alone in my room crying. I gained a lot of weight after the divorce because I wasn't eating well or exercising much. My hair started to fall out too because of stress. One day, I decided I needed to do something with myself and get out of this funk. So I started taking care of my health again and lost 40 pounds over the course of a year. It's been two years since then and I've been working on rebuilding my life from scratch. I've been focusing on self-love, learning to forgive myself, and surrounding myself with positive people who uplift me.
