A young man walks into a bar and orders a beer. As he's sipping his drink, he hears a voice say "Nice tie!" He looks around, but there's nobody nearby who could have said it.
He asks the bartender if she knows anything about the voice. The bartender replies, "Oh, that's just the peanuts. They're complimentary."
The man is confused, so the bartender explains, "Well, they're free, and they're also complimentary." The young man shakes his head and walks out of the bar.
As he's walking home, he hears another voice say "Beautiful day!" He looks around again, but there's nobody nearby who could have said it. So he shrugs and continues on his way.
The next morning, the man decides to try a different bar. As he's sipping his coffee, he hears a voice say "Good morning!" Again, he looks around, but there's nobody nearby who could have said it.
He asks the bartender if she knows anything about the voice. The bartender replies, "Oh, that's just the coffee beans. They're percolating."
