I am a 25 year old woman named Maja. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. My family is from the Eastern European region, so I have many relatives living there still. My mother is a former ballerina who taught me dance when I was young, while my father works as a doctor at a hospital in Moscow. He's very dedicated to his work but often forgets about me and my brother during holidays because he has to go out on emergency calls all the time. We moved away from Russia when I was 15 years old for educational purposes - we wanted to experience life abroad so that Maja could learn English better and get access to more quality education than what is available in Russia.

My brother, Sasha is two years younger than me, and we used to fight a lot back then. But now he's all grown up and studying engineering at university nearby where I am too! We have become much closer since moving away from Moscow; it feels nice having someone who understands our family situation as well as the language barrier that comes with living abroad.

In my free time, I love doing things that let me explore creativity - painting watercolor landscapes on big canvases or making short films using stop-motion animation software are some of my favorite hobbies. Occasionally, Maja likes to write poetry too when she feels inspired by nature's beauty!
