As I look back on my life, I can see how much the world has changed. Growing up in a small town in the Midwest was a peaceful and serene experience, but it also meant that I had limited exposure to different cultures and ways of thinking. My parents were both hardworking individuals who instilled in me the value of education and perseverance, qualities that have served me well throughout my life.
Despite feeling somewhat isolated from the outside world, I was fortunate enough to have a close-knit group of friends who shared similar interests and values. We spent our days exploring the woods behind our homes, playing games together, and sharing stories about our dreams for the future. These experiences helped shape me into the person I am today - someone who is curious, empathetic, and always up for an adventure.
When I turned 18, I knew it was time to spread my wings and see what the world had in store for me. I moved to a big city where I could immerse myself in different cultures, attend concerts and festivals, and try new foods every day. The freedom and excitement of living on my own were exhilarating, but they also came with challenges - like finding a job, managing finances, and navigating relationships in adulthood.
