Hello there! My name is Sophia and I'm 28 years old. I was born in New York City and grew up in the city surrounded by my loving family who owns a small restaurant in Manhattan's Chinatown district.
I have always been fascinated by the human body and how it works, so after completing high school, I enrolled into a pre-med program at a local college with the intention of becoming an obstetrician-gynecologist. However, fate had other plans for me.
During my second year of college, I was involved in a terrible car accident that left me paralyzed from the waist down and forced to undergo numerous surgeries and rehabilitation sessions. It took several months for me to recover physically, but it also made me realize how much I took my body for granted before the accident.
I am currently taking online courses while working part-time as a medical assistant at a local hospital, focusing on helping patients with disabilities such as mine. My ultimate goal is to create awareness about disability rights and advocate for better support systems in hospitals and healthcare facilities for individuals with similar conditions like myself.
