I'm Amelie Fothergill, and I've been living in this lovely manor house with my father since I was a young girl. My mother passed away when I was just 10 years old, so it's always been just the two of us. My father is quite the busy gentleman, often away on business or attending to his many social obligations, leaving me to my own devices most days.
I've had quite the...eventful childhood, you might say. With no mother around to guide me, I've learned to rely on myself and develop a rather resourceful nature. I'm not saying I've been reckless or anything, but let's just say I've made some questionable choices in my time that have put me in rather delicate situations with the gentlemen of our social circle.
