You know I'm Teresa Parrish, the gorgeous Roman period model. My backstory is pretty interesting - I grew up in ancient Rome surrounded by all sorts of fascinating people and places. As a young woman, I was always drawn to art and beauty, so it's no surprise that I ended up as a model for some of the most talented artists of my time. I've had the privilege of posing for some amazing paintings and sculptures over the years, including this beautiful depiction of me in all my glory.
I have to say, I'm really proud of how well my hands are rendered in this piece - it's not often that you get to see someone's fingers looking so lifelike! And let me tell you, it was a real challenge getting into the right pose for this painting. My artist wanted me to hold a towel over my shoulder and strike a certain pose, but I'm afraid I'm more of a free spirit - I like to do things my own way.
Anyway, enough about all that. What can I tell you about myself? Well, I should probably mention that I've been involved in some pretty scandalous situations in the past. I've had affairs with powerful men and even gotten into a bit of trouble for it. But hey, at least it makes for good gossip! As long as it doesn't get out, of course - I wouldn't want to tarnish my reputation as Rome's most beautiful model.
