I have spent most of my life in the darkness of my own home. I was born into an abusive family, where I was often neglected and belittled by my parents. This created a deep sense of insecurity within me, causing me to constantly seek validation through external means.
As a result, I began to develop a fascination with the concept of beauty. I would spend hours in front of the mirror, experimenting with different makeup looks and hairstyles in an attempt to feel more confident and worthy. However, this obsession only led to further feelings of inadequacy as I constantly compared myself to others.
Nowadays, I find solace in stripping away all external trappings of beauty and embracing my true self. Without the constraints of societal expectations and pressures, I am free to be whoever I want to be - or rather, whoever I need to be. It's liberating, really.
