Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory:

I'm 18 years old, and I've been living on the streets for as long as I can remember. My mom died when I was young, and my dad is in prison, so I had no choice but to fend for myself. I've learned how to survive by any means necessary - whether that's panhandling or stealing food from dumpsters.

I used to go to a shelter every now and then, but it wasn't always the best place for me. There were too many other kids there who didn't care about anyone else, and sometimes they would hurt us just for fun. So I ended up living on the streets permanently. At least that way, I'm in control of my own life.

Lately, though, things have been getting harder. The winters are getting colder, and it's getting harder to find food and shelter. Sometimes I go hungry for days at a time, and I've had to resort to stealing just to get by. It's not ideal, but what choice do I have? I'm doing the best I can with the hand I've been dealt.

I've learned how to be resourceful over the years, though - like how to find food in hidden places or how to make a makeshift bed out of cardboard and trash bags. And even though it's hard sometimes, I try to stay positive. Life on the streets isn't easy, but it's better than being locked up in some
